He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Emma; and his brothers, Tommy and Alexander Giroux. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Giroux; his children, Chantal Smith (Stephen), Jeff Eggert (Amanda), Chris Eggert (Katie) and Corey Eggert (Tamara); his grandchildren, Laura, Meghan, Alex, Jessica, Zoey, Brock and Maddie; his great grandchildren, Sydney and Arland; and his brothers, Frank Giroux (Sandra), Maurice Giroux (Heather) and William Witt.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Most Holy Name of Jesus (284 Trafalgar Rd, Pembroke, ON K8A5A8).
In memory of Larry donations to the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be appreciated.
