He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Dufault; his parents, David Dufault and Violet Dufault; his son Thomas; and his siblings, Levi, Peter, Blaise, Michael Dufault, Helen Dufault, Fedelis Hill, Anna Marie "Nancy" and Maria (Dorian).

He is survived by: his son Kevin Dufault (Bridget); and his sister Rosemary Kelly. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews cousins.
