He was predeceased by: his spouse Deardrie Prescott; his parents, Harvey Prescott and Alma Prescott; and his brothers, Clarence (late Rose) and William Prescott (Arabella).

He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Colborne (Gerald), Mark Prescott (Kathy) and Deep River; and his grandchildren, Autumn (Frank Derue), Rachel Colborne (Robert Blakely), Joel (Shannon), Katie Prescott (John Keller), Josh (Amber Paplinskie) and Nolan Schruder (Lillian Afelskie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
