She was predeceased by: her husband Erwin Kristian Morgenstern; her siblings, Harry Reitlingshoefer and Renate Sell (late Harvey); and her parents, Johann Reitlingshoefer and Margarete Reitlingshoefer.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Morgenstern (Audrey Best) and Marion Morgenstern (Steve Trimm); her sister-in-law Christa Reitlingshoefer; and her cousin Austria. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.
