She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Samuel George Edwin Alexander; her child Stephanie Downton of Simcoe; her grandchildren, Thomas, Harrison, William, McKenzie, Ethan, Conner, Elizabeth, Renee, Wesley and Courteney; and her parents, Georges Courchesne and Francoise Courchesne.
