It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Marion Hammel of Pembroke, Ontario, who passed away, on May 26, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer Hammel; her parents, Ernest Bucholtz and Ida Bucholtz; and her siblings, Willard, Kenneth, Orma and Hubert.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila Wendt (late Rick Wendt) of Pembroke and Linda Reiche (Wayne) of Pembroke; her grandchildren, Hilary Schmidinger (Kyle) of Comox, B. C. and Jennifer Wendt of Pembroke; her great grandchildren, Gordon, Ivan and Michaela; and her siblings, Doris Seigel and Ronnie Bucholtz.

Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141, Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday, May 31, 2021 from 1:00-3:00 p. m. DUE TO THE CURRENT RESTRICTIONS REGARDING COVID-19 SET FORTH BY THE BEREAVEMENT AUTHORITY OF ONTARIO, A LIMITED NUMBER OF PEOPLE ARE PERMITTED AT VISITATION.
