She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence "Chummy" Helferty; her parents, Henry Mohns and Eva Mohns; her stepmother Ethel Paquette; her son-in-law Jim Brown; and her siblings, Carmen Belland (Charlie), Iveagh Sheedy (Harold), Margaret Reid, Aurelia Bonora (Victor), Sharon Ryan, Willard, Lloyd (Nettie) and Dennis Mohns.
She is survived by: her children, Dale (Cameron McLauchlan), Ann Stoodley (Mike) and Lynn Urlocker (Shawn); her grandchildren, Kelly (Dan), Christopher, Cory, Alison (Peter), Amy (Bryan), Adam (Pam), Shayne (Jordan), Brendan (Bria), Lee (Erica), Shannon (Ethan) and Lauren; her brothers, Brian Mohns (Judy) and Giles Mohns (Sue); and her siblings-in-law, Jeannine Mohns, Barbara Grace (late Larry) and Bruce Ryan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
