She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh MacDonald and Annabel MacDonell; her husband Gerard; and her siblings, Anna McBean (Duncan), Allan MacDonald, Charles MacDonald, Margaret Howard (Don) and Sarah Holcomb (Warren).
She is survived by: her children, Stephen (Carolyn) of Petawawa, Carol Anne of Ottawa, Donald (Connie) of North Bay, Murray (Joanne) of Pembroke, Alan (Susan) of Vancouver and Lorraine (Mathieu) of Toronto; her grandchildren, Scott (Angela), Shawn O'Connor, Sarah, Jessica O'Connor, Alexandra and Sophie Lamy; and her siblings, Jessie Leduc (late Archie) and Patricia Graham (Russ). She is also survived by her family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Neville Funeral Home (491 Isabella St, Pembroke, ON K8A5T8). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Most Holy Name of Jesus (284 Trafalgar Rd, Pembroke, ON K8A5A6).
