He was predeceased by : his daughter Melissa Dempsey; and his cousin Dale Langille. He is survived by : his wife Kathy Dempsey; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Shauna Dempsey; his daughter Sheila Nicolson George; his siblings, Kirk Dempsey and Lorrie Corso; his grandchildren, Bradley Hawke, Kailynn Hawke, Amber Dempsey and Austin Dempsey; and his son-in-law Mark Kempt.
