He was loved and cherished by many people including: his close friend Janet; his children, Padraic (Michelle Chandler) and Claire (Rachel Smyth); his grandfather Mick; his siblings, Colleen (Tom Franey) and Marty (Julie); and his parents, Martin and Margaret. He was also cherished by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Pembroke Public Library, where Mike was an enthusiastic patron for 40 years and an active volunteer in his retirement, would be appreciated.
