He was predeceased by: his spouse Emelda Chaput; his parents, Anthime James and Mary Louise Chaput; his son Kenneth (late Marlene); his grandson James; his great grandchildren, Dylan and Sakira; and his siblings, Irene Boucher, Leona Chaput, Mary Jane Ranger, Margaret Sallans, Catherine Cliche, Joyce Beauchamp, Rita Leroux, Wilfred, Weldon and Donat Chaput (Joseph).
He is survived by: his children, Dennis (Dianne), Cecile Curtis (Ned), Robert and Joanne Leal (Paul); his grandchildren, Kathleen, Rose-Anne, Nicole, Kendra, Amy, Angie, Lindsey, Sarah and Kurt; his great grandchildren, Corey, Travis, Zoe-Adele, Danika, Curtis, Domonic, Pearl, Davin and Elora; and his brother Mike Chaput.
