Odelide Laura Marie Jones Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Odelide Laura Marie Jones (Pembroke, Ontario), born in Gogama, Ontario, who passed away on September 26, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Hector Jones; her children, Joyce Shannon Prescott (Mel) of Pembroke, Gerald (Barbara Rimmer-Jones) of Pembroke, Patricia Mathewson (late Lynn) of Pembroke, Helen Schruder (Larry) of Pembroke and Brenda Jones of Pembroke; her sisters, Rita Bernatchez (late John) and Germaine Lacroix (Raymond); her sister-in-law Helen Sabourin (late Rene); her parents, Regina Giroux and Paul Sabourin; her brothers, Albert Sabourin (late Monique) and Lionel Rene Sabourin; her stepmother Rose Marie Graveline; and her granddaughter Nikola Schruder. She was also cherished by nanny in the hearts of her 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 great -great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Her faith meant everything to her so donations to the restoration fund of Holy Name of Jesus Church, her church since 1943 would be appreciated.
