He was predeceased by: his spouse Judith Gutzeit; his daughter Paula Siegel; his siblings, Esther Bergeron, Leonard Gutzeit and Lawrence Gutzeit; and his parent Arthur Gutzeit.

He is survived by: his children, Crystal Gutzeit, Pembroke, Kim Trombley (Rob) and Eganville; his son-in-law Lavern Siegel; his siblings, Anita Felske and Joyce Garetto; and his parent Minnie Gutzeit. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
