He was predeceased by: his wife Silvia Ann VanKoughnett; his parents, George Vankoughnett and Pearl Vankoughnett; and his siblings, Mary Jane Myre, Gerard, Wayne (Joan) and Larry VanKoughnett (late Wendy).
He is survived by: his children, Naomé (Mark Lindsey), Heidi (Nick Davis) and Amber (Mike Lefebvre); his grandchildren, Monica, Rama, Fedora, Benjamin, Lydia, Jade, Grace, Cameron, Rose, Violet and Theodore; and his siblings, Gail Bacon (late Bob), Carol Blais, George "Butch" (Kay), Elaine Fabian (Jerome), Sharon Janman (Bob) and Susan Boyd (John). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
