He was predeceased by: his wife Helen O'Brien of Pembroke; and his parents, Harry O'Brien and Mildred O'Brien (Murphy). He is survived by: his children, Mike MacKinnon (Bernice), Dale O'Brien Orono (Linda), Gary O'Brien Oshawa (Pamella), Peter O'Brien, Sharon O'Brien Sudbury (Silvana) and Heather O'Brien-Radmore Gatineau (Chris); his grandchildren, Sean, Ashlyn, Britney, Patricia (Luke), Brianna (Matt), Andrew (Keara), Rylee, Ryan, Kyle (Mia), Wade and Scott (Candace); and his great grandchildren, Maddox, Finley and Riley.
