Ronald left this world on April 14, 2026 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his daughter Wendy Matthews; his sibling Beverly Lewty; and his parents, Irvin Bain and Hazel Bain. He is survived by: his wife Ann Bain; his son David Bain (Alisa); and his grandchild Mackenzie.

Interment Beechwood National Military Cemetery Ottawa, on Wednesday April 22 at 11:00 a.m. In memory of Ron, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
