He was predeceased by: his wife Althea Berry; his parents, James Berry and Zoie Berry; his son Jack; and his brothers, Arthur of Nova Scotia, Wilfred of Nova Scotia, Gordon of Nova Scotia and Bernard Berry of Nova Scotia.

He is survived by: his daughter Susan Warner (Rick) of Digby; his stepson Bruce Holderny (Nancy) of Pembroke; his daughter-in-law Susan Berry of Nova Scoita; his grandchildren, Gypsy, Brandy and Eric; and his great grandchildren, Jack and Glace. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
