She was predeceased by: her husband Desmond "Des" Zadow; her former spouse Garwin Wright; her daughter Patricia Johnston (Allen) of Nanaimo, BC; her grandchild Carrie-Ann; her siblings, Elwill Carnegie (late Irene), Alvin Carnegie (late Pearl), Orma Wright (late Ellwood), Everett Carnegie, Weldon Carnegie, Cecil Carnegie (late Pearl), Jean Wright (late Lennox) and Wilma Carnegie; and her parents, John Carnegie and Violet Carnegie.

She is survived by: her children, Gayle Hawthorne (Kevin), Barbara Shannon (Paul), Daniel Zadow (Dene), Donna Dennison (late Jack), Debbie Zadow and Michael Zadow (Patty); her grandchildren, Sheri Proulx (Derek), Steven Hawthorne (Shelley), Greg Zadow, Rebecca Lipscomb (Phil), Pam Dennison (Todd), Josh Dennison, Renee Silke (Travis), Kelly Silke, Caitlin, Kristen, Morgan Johnston, Michael, Stephanie and Alissa Zadow; and her brother Donald Carnegie (Fyrne). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
