He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilary Gauthier and Beatrice Gauthier; his brother Colin (Michelle); and his siblings-in-law, Norman Furber (Nancy), Ethel Pim (late Bryan) and Lorraine "Patsy" Fargo (Gil).

He is survived by: his children, Stacy Sabourin (Marc), Desjardinsville, Stanley Jr. (Tammy) and Brenda Cochrane (Murray); his grandchild Hillary Dipple-Sabourin (Joseph); his great grandchildren, Graeme Dipple-Sabourin, Jordan and Logan Williamson; his brothers, Ken (late Lorna) and Donald "Pete" (Gail); his son-in-law Butch Williamson (Laurie); and his son Wayne (Sarah). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
