She was predeceased by: her husband Murray Derbyshire; her parents, Rosalind and Sydney; her stepfather Roy; her sister Heather; and her grandson Kevin.

She is survived by: her children, Rosalind, Frances (Charlie) and Douglas (Michelle); her siblings, Robert (Margaret), Ian, Donald, Jamie, Glenn, Pam (Dennis) and Isobel (Rob); her adoptive daughters, Amanda and Cindy; and her father-in-law Ellwood. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters in-laws, numerous nieces and nephews as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.
