He was predeceased by: his son Travis Mathieu; his sister Eunice Mathieu; his father-in-law Sonny Giroux; and also Cecil. He is survived by: his wife Anne Mathieu; his children, Samuel Mathieu and Sarah Mathieu (Kyle Bush); his grandchildren, Haylee, Jack and Ryker; his brother Rick Mathieu; and his mother-in-law Dorothy.
