It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Mossman (Penetanguishene, Ontario), born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 7, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Frederick Mossman; her brother Donald Schurman; and her daughter Charlotte Blok. She is survived by: her children, Catherine Mossman of Tiny, ON and John Mossman of Calgary, AB; her granddaughters, Heather McTaggart, Erin Aitchison, Kira, Kali and Makayla Mossman; her great grandchildren, Laken and Landen Aitchison; and her husband George.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Riverport Community Hall. In 2020, as Covid came upon us all, George and Carolyn moved a little further west to a condo in the town of Penetanguishene, which was close to Catherine and her partner Michael's home in Tiny Township.
In lieu of flowers, one might consider donating to; The Nova Scotia Nature Trust or Maritime Conservatory of the Performing Arts would be greatly appreciated.
