In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Cleo Maurice had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Cleo Maurice may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucien Desroches and Yvonne Desroches. He is survived by: his close friend Brenda Buttineau; his siblings, Gabriel, Marc Desroches of Penetanguishene and Murielle Roy of Midland; and also Kim. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ann's Church (28 Robert St W, Penetanguishene, ON L9M1L6). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Penetanguishene Legion.
In lieu of Flowers donations can be made to the Hospice Huronia – Tomkins House in Penetanguishene in memory of Cleo.
