He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Putz and Laura Putz; and his siblings, Ronald Pittz, Joyce Robillard and Marjorie Macaskill.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Putz; his children, Karen Desroches (Peter), Al Putz (Shannon Deere) and Shelley Juhasz (Andy); his grandchildren, Shalana (James Murton), Sheldon, Christopher (Ashley Burling), Brennan, Andre, Adam and Matthew; his great grandchildren, Eli, Myles, Wylie and Wesson; and his siblings, Doug Piitz (Rosella), Rick Putz (Myra), Michael Putz (Gail) and Anita Lavigne. He is also survived by nephews and his many friends.
