Lorette Marion Obituary

In loving memory of Lorette Marion (Penetanguishene, Ontario), who departed this world on January 22, 2026 at the age of 96. Lorette leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert Marion; and her parents, Michel Marion and Delima Marion (Quesnelle). She is survived by: her children, Isabel (Dave), Theresa (late Ron), Helene (Denis), Robert (Cheryl), Denis (Victoria) and Marc (Rachel); and her siblings, Alda, Julia, Paul, Simone, Germaine, Majella, Lionel, Andre, Florence and Gabriel. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Penetanguishene Funeral Home (155 Main St, Penetanguishene, ON L9M1L7). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ste. Croix Church (327 Lafontaine Rd W, Township Of Tiny, ON L9M0H1).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the County of Simcoe Alzheimer's Society in memory of Lorette.
