He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Yvonne Gignac; his children, Kathleen Forget (Armand), Patrick Gignac (Crystal), Louise Zoschke (John), Denise Hayes (Wolfgang Fels) and Brenda Biggs (Jim); his grandchildren, Brent Forget (Kristy Nicholson), Jessica Hamelin (Jeff), Adam Gignac, Dean Hayes (Jessica Robitaille), Lance Hayes (Sarah), Felicia Morden (Cody), Rachel Salaun (Fred), Sarah Antoine (Arthur) and Brett Gignac (Lindsay); and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Neve, Hudson Hamelin, Eden, Lilith Hayes, Felex, Casey Morden, Theo, Maya Salaun and Emery Gignac. He was also cherished by his family, extended family.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ann's Church (28 Robert St W, Penetanguishene, ON L9M1L6). A reception was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
