We announce the death of Ankaret Helen Dean (Perth, Ontario), who passed away on September 29, 2026, at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Arthur Chetwynd-Talbot and Helen Mary Townsend; her husband John Orcheston Dean; her son-in-law Russell Pedley; and her brother John Edward Chetwyn-Talbot.
She is survived by: her sister Susan Thomson; her children, Joanna Dean (David), Pippa Dean-Veerman (Keith), Louise Moody and Anthony Dean (Ann); and her grandchildren, Jonathon Moody, Jasmine Georget, Amanda Wilson, Adam Moody, Matthew Pedley, Lucas Wilson, Simon Moody, Basil Veerman, Marlow Wilson, Blake Veerman, Sarah Dean and John Dean. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Agricultural Hall, McDonalds Corners (194 Camerons Rd, Lanark Highlands, ON K0G1M0).
