He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John Nixon and Letta Nixon; his wife Donna Lee Nixon (Carriveau); his daughter Kim Mathison (Shanon); and his grandsons, Joel, Noah and Nathan Mathison. He was also cherished by many close friends and extended family.

In remembrance of Arnold, memorial contributions can be made to the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 244, Perth or to Conlon Farm.
