She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hopewell and Betty Hopewell of Ottawa. She is survived by: her husband Alan Sentance; her children, Mike Sentance (Anna) and Kathryn Lindsay (Matt); her grandchildren, Graham, Andrew Lindsay and Lauren Sentance; her siblings, Carolyn Sparling (Ken), Andrew Hopewell (Karen) and Allan Hopewell (Patsy); and her sisters-in-law, Carol van der Meulen (Gary) and Patricia Skarzynski (George). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
