It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Douglas Alfred Bell of Perth, Ontario, who passed away on September 6, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Jonathan; his parents, Stuart Bell and Muriel Bell (Greeley); and his brothers, Harold, David and Donald Bell.
He is survived by: his significant other Jackie Lord; his children, Amy and Tracey Bell; his sisters-in-law, Donna and Lorraine Bell; and his pets, Mary, Tiggey, Smokey, Midnight, Tayo, Charlie, Maranda, Ee-Be, Bella, Peaches and Teddy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Blair and Son Funeral Home (15 Gore St W, Perth, ON K7H2L7).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated by the family in Doug's honour to either the Ottawa Heart Institute, or to the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital – Perth Site; Palliative Care Unit.
