With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Stewart Scott (Perth, Ontario), who passed away on October 14, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John'Jack' Scott and Mary Scott (Munro); and his stepmother Keitha (Kidd). He is survived by : his wife Lynne (Lafond); his son Jeffrey; his daughter-in-law Ceilidh (Kinlin); his grandson Douglas Joseph Scott; his brothers, Bill (Jo-Anne) and Alan (Nancy); his sisters-in-law, Wendy Guillemette (Mike) and Renee Laflamme (Claude); and his stepsiblings, Mary Jane Valiquette (Rob), George Kidd (Gwen) and Lisa McEwan (Doug). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Doug's hope was that any donations be made to the CHEO Foundation (https://cheofoundation.com) as pediatric healthcare was something he held near and dear to his heart.
