Glen Allan Thompson Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Glen Allan Thompson of Perth, Ontario. Glen, born on August 22, 1934, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth "Beth" Gordon; and his parents, Gladys Thompson (Anderson) and Allan Thompson. He is survived by: his sons, Peter (Maggie) and Paul (Cory); his grandchildren, Jared, Madison, Riley (Samantha) and Brayden (Emily); his great grandchildren, Brayden, Reid, Shaelee and Karter; and his sister Gail Drummond (late Bob). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, neighbours, extended family, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blair & Son Funeral Home (15 Gore St W, Perth, ON K7H2L7). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Blair & Son Funeral Home Chapel (15 Gore St W, Perth, ON K7H2L7). A burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at the Campbell Cemetery (2886 Concession 7, Balderson).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital – Perth Site or the Lanark-Balderson Pastoral Charge would be appreciated by Glen's family.
