He was predeceased by: his wife Eveline (McGregor); his parents, Robert Foster and Ethel Foster (McEwen); and his siblings, Wilbert Foster (Jean), Lena Liddle (Ernie), Jean Foster, Eva Foster, Betty (Ernie), Liddle (Jack Somerville), Robert Foster (Bessie), Donald Foster (Eileen), Evelyn Yuill (Roy), George Foster, Christine Marjorie and Maxine McCurdy (R. J.).

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Leita Foster; his nephew Terry Foster (Joyce Romsbury); and his friend Harold. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, family and friends.
