We bid farewell to Janice Ruth Echlin (Perth, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 24, 2025 at the age of 65. Janice touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Derbyshire and Helene Derbyshire; her stepfather Allen McEwen; her sisters, Judy Steele (Ron) and Karen Derbyshire; and her siblings-in-law, Norman Echlin and Audrey Echlin.
She is survived by: her husband Keith Echlin; her daughters, Tricia Echlin (Todd Lavigne) and Missy Echlin; her grandchildren, Aidan and Riley; her siblings, Linda Doyle (Larry) and Rob Derbyshire (late Sherry); and her siblings-in-law, William Echlin (Peggy) and Dianne Smith (late Norm). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Blair & Son - Smiths Falls Chapel (112 Beckwith St N, Smiths Falls, ON K7A2C2). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
