She was predeceased by : her husband Harold Fortner; her parents, Charles Kearns and Rosie; and her siblings, Rosemary Moriarty and Charles Kearns.

She is survived by : her children, Michael Fortner (Jacqueline), Stephen Fortner (Marian), Sally Fredricks, Julie Andrews (John) and Nancy Fortner (Raj); her grandchildren, Christopher, Dan, Katrina, Jessica, Jonathan, James, Jennifer, John, Mariah and Bob; her great grandchildren, Isabella and Matteo; and her sister Julia (Michael O'Neill). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
