He was predeceased by : his wife Joyce Underwood; his parents, Thomas Earl and Bessie May Underwood; and his siblings, Earl Underwood (late Carol), Shirley Van Buskirk (late Bonar) and Diane Budd.

He is survived by : his children, Tracey Watt (Greg) of Kanata and Stephen Underwood (Patti Saulnier); his grandchildren, Sophie Watt and Myriah Saulnier; and his sister Elizabeth Williams (Ronald).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute, the Canadian Hunger Foundation or Ducks Unlimited would be greatly appreciated.
