He was predeceased by: his brother Gordon Platt. He is survived by: his spouse Pat Laws; his children, David Michael (Carole) of Kingston, Susan Uens (Todd) of Stirling, Christopher and Kevin (Marcie) of Ottawa; his sibling Susan Platt of Milton; and his grandchildren, Meagan, Chase, Sherrilynn, Kendra and Christina.
