He was predeceased by : his mother Claire; and his grandparents, Clayton and Melissa Cox. He is survived by : his wife Debra; his father Frederick Cox; his mother-in-law Lois Richards; his siblings, Catherine Dunham and Frederick Cox; and his brothers-in-law, Stephen and Michael Richards. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends.

In honour of him, memorial contributions to the ALS Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
