With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Irene Edmonds (Perth, Ontario), who passed away on August 23, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Rita's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Rita has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Grant Edmonds; and her son Brian Edmonds. She is survived by: her son Larry Edmonds; and her granddaughter Alyssa Edmonds-Read (Andrea).
As per Rita's wishes, donations in her memory would be appreciated to the Lanark Lodge Recreation Department, the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation (https://wl.donorperfect.net), Perth Site, or the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).
