He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Bobby, Carver, Gaelan, John and Doyle; his parents, Frederick Widenmaier and Kathleen Widenmaier (Lake); and his siblings, Joyce Bradley, John Widenmaier (Jack) and Kenneth Widenmaier.

He is survived by: his children, Kristen (Ron), Kerri (Kevin) and David; his brother William Widenmaier (Bill); his sister-in-law Roberta Widenmaier (Bobbie); his nieces, Wendy, Joy, Lorna, Kathleen, Darlene, Wanita, Wendi and Jill; his nephew Wayne; and his close friends, David Wilson, Dave Lemke and Widenmaier Rd.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 495 Widenmaier Rd, Perth, ON K7H0L7.
