She was predeceased by : her parents, Emilia and Kenneth Annable; and her brother Howard. She is survived by : her significant other William Gibson; her daughters, Cherrill (Kelvin Napier), Dawn (Shawn Kerrigan) and Paula (Arnold Buker); her siblings, Evelyn (Glen Salter), Winson (Jean), Edwyn (Debbie) and Stephen (Susan); her grandchildren, Daniel (Peun), Brett (Jess), Kayla (Adam), Sara (Jon), Emilia and Logan; and her great grandchildren, Annie, Edith, Kieran, Ozzy and Emery.

In remembrance of Ruth, memorial donations to the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association would be appreciated.
