He is survived by: his children, Michele McAdoo and Sean McAdoo (Karen Mowbray); his grandchildren, Wyatt and Hannah Bain; his siblings, Bud McAdoo (Sue), Phil McAdoo (Chris), Donna Poulter (Ross) and Wendy Reid (Robert); his sister-in-law Roberta Healey (Brian); his cousins, Barb Crain (Wib) and Sylvia Lynch (Ray); Julie Stewart. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In honour of Sandy, memorial contributions can be made to the Elphin Presbyterian Church, Crawford's Cemetery, and the Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Centre (IGFCC).
