He is survived by : his wife Linda Sproule; his sons, Daniel O'Connor and Mark O'Connor; his grandchild Louka O'Connor; his siblings, Susan Trotter O'Connor (Ray Dick), Linda Trotter Guindon (Jason), Kevin O'Connor, Jeff O'Connor, June Avery, Christine Caine (Bill Macumber), Rick Avery (Carin) and Joe Trotter (Bonnie); his mother Rosemary Trotter; and his mother-in-law Mary Sproule. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

“I am so sorry to hear of Shawn’s passing.He was always a great person to talk to and hang out with. I had not heard from Shawn in a couple of years and did not no he was ill. We had some great times growing up. I know he loved his family and children deeply. Rest In Peace my friend.”
