He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Corrie Haas; his daughters, Odette Haas Kingston (Michael Freeman), Maureen Haas (Michael Cartan) and Yvonne Haas (Roman Wasylyk); his grandchildren, Thomas, Danielle, John, Leah, Erin, Alison, Helena and Anna; his siblings, Ida, Richard, Frida, Willem, Diny (Haas-Bosman) and Josephine (Haas-Treffers) of Canada; his parents, Lambertus Haas and Wilhelmina Kortz; his daughter Corrie; his sister Jos; and his friends, Eric, John and Gary.
