He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Michel and Tena Michel; and his brother-in-law Murray Schultz. He is survived by: his children, Heather Michel of Burnaby, B. C., Cheryl McMeekin (Rob), Cindy Loehr (Dave) and Melodie Cox (Carman); his grandchildren, Kirstin, Ian, Corey (Brittany), Ryan (Jayden), Spencer, Adam, Colin, Evan and Brayden; his great grandchildren, Liam, Quinn, Jack, Madden and Tatum; his siblings, Eileen Barron (Murray), Eleanor Davis (late Reg) and Bob Michel (late Jean); and his siblings-in-law, Murray Sell (Sandra), Lorraine Schroeder (Welland) and Brenda Zohr (Ken). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Luke's Anglican Church, St. John's Lutheran Church or Heart & Stroke Foundation.
