She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Hein and Mary Hein; her sister Mary-Jane Jones (David); her father-in-law Kenneth; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Young (Marilyn).

She is survived by: her children, Amy Young (Mark Hiscocks), James Young and Ashley Young (Phil Dupuis); her grandchildren, Lucas and Adelyn; her siblings, Ronalee Jin (Donald), Roger Hein and Pamela Robinson (Rick Lavigor); her parent-in-law Gaye Young; and her siblings-in-law, Susan Wootton (Shawn), Jane Henderson (Robert), Robert Young (Natalie), Janet Helmich (Johnny), Lisa Roberts (Luke) and April Campbell (Basil). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Ottawa Civic Hospital, Kidney Foundation or Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
