He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Oelke and Edna Oelke; and his brothers, Elmer (Doris), Stanley (late Elva), Wallace "Butch" Oelke (Norma), Wilfred (Hildegard Schwanz), Herbert (Edith Behnke) and Earl Schwanz.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverley Oelke; his daughters, Elizabeth Jacob (Mark) and Julianne Oelke-Simonsen (Jens); his grandchildren, Anna, Kaitlyn, Christopher, Ellen, Jens E., Odin, Leif and Roan; his stepgranddaughter Maria; and his sister Agnes Green (late Cecil).
The family will receive family and friends in Luther Hall after 10:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
