She was predeceased by : her husband Elmer Mau; her parents, John Verch and Flora Verch; and her sisters, Eleanor Tiegs (late Martin) and Lois Verch.

She is survived by : her children, Sharon Krieger (Robert), Beverly Mau (Mike Fischer), Faith Mau and Fred Mau (Gina); and her brother Lloyd Verch (Carol). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
