He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Chalmers and Irene Chalmers; and his siblings, Dorothy Burns (late Alfred), Violet Bruce (late Bud), Donald Chalmers, Dorothy Ann Lust and Jim Burns (Mae).
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Chalmers; his children, Bruce (Loretta), Heather and Susan; his grandchildren, Jeris (Morgan) and Connor; and his great grandchildren, Emrie and Adalyn.
