She was predeceased by: her spouse Mike Habec; her parent William Teschner; and her siblings, Ruth Paterson (late Robert), Conrad Teschner, Stanley Teschner (late Sonja) and Harris Teschner (Joan).

She is survived by: her children, Ken Habec (Kathy), Oshawa Habec and Vida Habec; her grandchildren, Jeff Habec (Emma), Morgan Roberts (Kyle) and Lindsey Hartling (Joe); her great grandchildren, Jack, Tom, Abby, Ben, Claire and Nate; her parent Clara Teschner; and her pet Charlie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
